Welcome to Cuddledry

Our values

Original Cuddledry baby towels contain unbleached organic cotton and bamboo fibre - the softest, most absorbent and earth-friendly towelling you can buy. Naturally-grown bamboo is used to make a new fibre that is perfect for babies - silky, luxurious and with natural antibacterial properties. The bamboo we use is grown without pesticides or fertilisers, and is certified under the ‘Confidence in Textiles’ Oekotex 100 regulation. Our organic cotton is also grown with no chemicals, and is sourced from an IMO (Institute of Marketecology) certified supplier.

Our use of organic cotton at Cuddledry means your baby is not exposed to toxic chemical residues that may appear in conventional cotton products. As organic cotton undergoes less processing, it keeps higher levels of natural softness and strength to ensure each towel is of the best possible quality.

We don't use gimmicks and we are serious about quality of the product. The luxurious materials used and the quality of the craftsmanship, mean your Cuddledry towel is something you will use daily for years, and its softness will always remain.
Our packaging is made from 80% recycled and 20% virgin pulp from sustainable forests and is fully recyclable.

Our products are mainly manufactured in China where the bamboo grows, and we have a team member based in Hong Kong who works closely with all of our suppliers and factories to ensure they meet our ethical standards ensuring good working conditions for the teams who make our Cuddledry products.

We do our best at Cuddledry to offer you products which are high quality, whilst also being as eco-friendly and ethical as possible. We work constantly to find the most ethical and environmentally sound ways possible to run our business, and we always welcome new ideas!

The Baby Products Association (BPA) was established in 1945. It was set up with the objectives of promoting the baby and nursery products sector in both the UK and Europe. Today they play an active role in the development of product standards and provide an umbrella of support and specialist services to their membership.

BPA members and member representatives sit on a large number of committees and working groups in CEN (Europe) and the BSI. Their Technical Committee is constructed of industry experts and specialists covering a wide range of baby and nursery products including wheeled goods, nursery furniture, baby walkers, soft goods, child restraints, toys and early learning.

Where no standards exist they are pre-emptive in their approach and will develop and produce a BPA Code of Practice.

They are the voice of the industry in the UK and it is their aim to provide members with the comfort and assurance that they are there batting for them and the industry in general.

Cuddledry® is delighted to be linked with UK charity Child Accident Prevention Trust.

The company is actively supporting the prevention of childhood accidents contributing 10 pence from the sale of every baby bath towel to the charity.

Child Accident Prevention Trust’s chief executive Katrina Phillips says:

“We are very pleased that Cuddledry® has not only created a product that will contribute to safer parenting, but that it is also proactively supporting our charity financially to help us in our work to prevent accidents among babies, children and young people.”

“The smart design of the baby towel changes bathtime from a sopping wet juggling act to a snuggly bonding time, with its clever apron-style design and cosy double-layered fabric,” explains Polly Marsh, one of Cuddledry’s creators, “Now anyone who buys a Cuddledry® will be contributing to the prevention of childhood accidents too.”
